PROTON Holdings Bhd through its wholly-owned unit PROTON Edar Sdn Bhd is inviting interested businessmen to join the group's new 3S (sales, service and spare parts) dealership expansion programme.
The new programme is part of PROTON's on-going nationwide transformation exercise to improve its after-sales services.
Interested parties should submit a completed application form, relevant company documents and supporting documents to PROTON Edar's Network Planning & Development Division (more information is available at www.proton-edar.com.my).
Applications are open until May 31, 2015.
Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Abdul Harith Abdullah said the 3s programme is part of the Group's growth plans.
"Through our growth plans, our dealership network needs to be rationalised to maintain a healthy and profitable dealer network for PROTON.
"With the programme, our current network of 413 outlets, comprising a mix of 3S Centres, would be able to create a healthy network by focusing on key primary market areas," he said.
Abdul Harith said PROTON is now remodelling the infrastructure of its network towards the next five years through the dealership expansion programme.
He said this is to address the company's present distribution network namely low productivity, inefficiency of its operational processes and disparity in its service level to its customers.
"The rationalisation is to make the business more profitable and competitive for its dealerships, besides providing customers with excellent ownership experience," he added.
